What’s your Gratitude Attitude?

GratitudeWhat does Thanksgiving mean to you?

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on our lives and all the things we are grateful for. But we shouldn’t limit our gratitude to Thanksgiving, this is a year-round process, even daily.

Would you be surprised to learn that there is a magic potion that will increase your health, happiness, productivity, optimism, relationships and financial abundance?

What if I told you it was free?

You’d want some wouldn’t you?

Well it is free, it’s called gratitude attitude.  The more you are grateful for even the small things in your life, the more you will have to be grateful for. Taking the time to focus and give thanks increases the positive flow around you. I don’t mean just saying “thank you”, too often we say it automatically without truly feeling it. Take the time to allow that feeling into your heart.

Sometimes this is an easy process, life is going along well, you and your family are healthy, you’re working, your bills are paid, you have good friends. Life may not always be easy, but it is rewarding. You can probably sit down and easily come up with 10 things you are grateful for.

But what happens when there is a breakdown in one or more of these areas? How can you find gratitude in your heart when it all seems just too hard to bear? Start small, find a couple small things that you can feel grateful for, it can be simple, or even funny. “I am grateful for light switches.”  “I am grateful for this glass of water.”  The more little things you find, the more your heart starts to fill, your body relaxes and you begin to draw even more things to you that you can be grateful for. Did you know that when you are grateful you are in a more receptive mode and you begin to become more magnetic and attract to you the things you want in life? It even helps reduce negativity and improves your problem solving skills, thus increasing many-fold the flow of positivity in your life.
