Travel Tips for HSPs, Empaths, and everyone else – Travel Series #1

Travel Tips

Travel can be alternately exhausting, frustrating and energizing. How can you even things out?

Let’s face it, travel can be extremely stressful for everyone. If you’re an HSP or empath it can be even more trying. Airports, Crowded planes, jet lag, strange surroundings, figuring out where to go and what to do, time schedules, etc, all add up and can ruin either a business trip or a vacation pretty quickly.

If you’re planning a vacation or a business trip, a little pre-planning can make all the difference

Do you spend most of your time planning What you’re going to do and give little thought to How you’re going to do it. Oftentimes just a few changes in your travel plans will give you a much more enjoyable time and leave you actually feeling like you don’t need a vacation to recover from your trip. Learn a few things that work for you and you’ll be looking forward to both vacations and business trips.

Flying? Airports, Scanners, on-board WiFi, other people’s stress, jet lag all combine to drain your energy.

Wear your BioShield (or order one today) Your shield will protect you from the electromagnetic bombardment at the airport and on the plane. Even if you have to take your Shield off to go through security, put it right back on and it will immediately begin helping your body release the effects of the radiation.

Jet lag and time zones

Jet lag is partially caused by the EMF load in the airplane and the double impact of everyone’s stress and the disruption of your body clock’s normal rhythms. The Shield naturally helps with that issue. The Shield is balancing your energy field and and resetting your body clock. You’ll find that you’re able to adjust more easily when wearing your Shield. Other people’s anxiety and stress can be overwhelming, especially if you’re highly sensitive or an empath.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, airports, strange cities, hotels….all are awash with other people’s energy. Chances are many of the people are stressed, worried about how to get where they’re going, dealing with family or work situations, or any number of other emotional issues.

Your sensitivity to these things is even greater when you travel because you too are dealing with having to figure out new places, situations, directions, etc. So the less you have to deal with their energy, the more relaxed and focused you can be.

Hotels and other strange beds

That hotel room is filled with different energies, even emotional baggage left behind by many of the other people who have slept in that bed. The hotel maids clean the room physically, but they can’t do anything to clean the energy. Either put your shield on the nightstand near you, or wear it during the night and you might just sleep better.

Take your Room Shield – Hang your room Shield from the knob on the lamp…but be sure to put a note on the door to remind you to take it with you when you leave.

Here’s a time/stress saving tip

Did you know you can put a hold on your mail online in about 1 minute? You tell the post office when to start and stop your mail, easy. Just go to usps.com and click on Hold Mail.

What you eat and drink makes a large impact on mood and focus

Blood Sugar issues can cause you to have difficulty focusing and anxiety making it a lot harder to deal with last minute changes and stresses.

Always keep emergency rations in your purse or carry-on. Simple travel food – Protein bars, nuts, little cracker packs with peanut butter or cheese, string cheese, trail mix.  Protein provides your brain and muscles the energy needed. Keep sugar, caffeine, soda and alcohol to a minimum.

Driving in your Smart Car is like sitting next to a WiFi router

It’s great these days to be able to answer the phone, listen to audio books or music thru Bluetooth and all the other conveniences available on most cars. All that comes at a price, Bluetooth is just like WiFi and can be very draining to your aura/energy.

Wear your Shield. Hanging a RoomShield from your rear view mirror can be very helpful if you’re traveling with people who don’t have Shields it also eliminates even more of the impact of the EMF inside your car. You may find the trip goes more smoothly because it reduces both the EMF and emotional energy bouncing all around you. You’ll find that you’re more focused and often not as tired at the end of the day.

Schedule some free time to recharge

Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, leaving yourself some unscheduled time helps tremendously. If you have to, schedule your free time. Then spend it doing something you enjoy, even if that’s just time spent relaxing with a book, taking a walk, having a nice meal, staring at the waves/sky etc. You know what you need to feel recharged and it’s easy to forget that when in a new place out of your normal routine.

Put on your Shield and have a great trip.
