Are Smart Meters Smart? NO.

There's Nothing Smart about smart MetersReports are starting to flood in across the US and Canada about the health effects of so called “smart meters”.

Many people have taken measurements of the EMF levels and found that the radiation from the meters are penetrating through house walls, exposing residents to dangerous electromagnetic pollution. The biggest concern is when the meter is on the same wall as a bedroom or room where you spend a lot of time. Even more worrisome are townhouses and apartments that may have multiple meters mounted just outside their living areas.

Research Study from the BioInitiative 2012 Report Summarizes a Sperm Study

The news from the research front is that sperm are fondly remembering the “good ole days” when young men did NOT sit in Starbucks answering emails on their WiFi enabled laptops or talking on phones that they pull out of their pockets!

Research is not the sexiest topic in the world, but some studies are so important we have to pass them onto you.  In a study* that was published in 2012, the authors wanted to find out what effect WiFi-connected laptops could have on healthy sperm? Let’s face it, when you walk into a Starbucks, there are a lot of guys in their 20’s and 30’s in there, drinking lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, some for hours at a time.

The 29 Guy Study

Twenty-nine healthy guys gave samples which were obtained under 2 different conditions. The first group was exposed to a Wi-Fi connected laptop for 4 hours. The second group was not exposed to the laptop or Wi-Fi.
