As women, we are often taught that we take care of everyone else first, and then if there is time and money left over, we take care of ourselves. What most of us don’t realize is that by doing that we are allowing ourselves to become de-energized – we are exhausted, possibly in pain, and lose the enthusiasm we once had.
When we are de-energized we actually become less able to take care of everything and everyone else.
