A recent study found that exercise is the key to a bunch of indicators for health. This particular study looked at data from nearly 100,000 Australian men and women over 65 – but folks, it’s going to apply to anyone over 20, in my opinion.
When you get frazzled and irritated, what is one of the things you find yourself doing? Well, maybe after you lower your shoulders from your chin, it might be time to stand up and stretch! In this study, participants were interviewed for their educational background, height, weight, smoking history, levels of physical activity and their level of psychological distress. No surprise that there was a connection between those who were physically less active and a greater level of psychological distress. In my words, these folks were not happy campers. Continue reading →
