You can feel more love and connection when you’re grounded
Do you have a difficult time feeling at home or living in the world? Are there days when you feel that you don’t belong here?
You’re not alone. HSPs, empaths, and others who are sensitive in one way or another often find it extremely difficult to be here on Earth – sometimes it seems excruciating. The energy is often overwhelming, chaotic and disharmonious that many are disconnected from their bodies and not at all grounded. Strangely being ungrounded and disconnected makes it even more difficult to be here. Continue reading →
Our very own Virginia Bonta Brown and AnnaMariah are interviewed and share tips.
Virginia talks about the effects of EMF radiation and what steps you can take to protect yourself. As a pediatric occupational therapist, Virginia saw firsthand some of the effects energy had on children and has made it her mission to help protect both children and adults, so they can be empowered to be at their best. Did you know exposure holding a cell phone to your head for only 5-minutes will decrease a child’s attention span for up to 3 hours?
As our technology increases with the roll-out of even more smart meters and 5G networks, taking care of yourself is increasingly important.
AnnaMariah is an Empath. She designed our HSP Quiz to help Highly Sensitive People and empaths learn their areas of sensitivity and how they can be more at home in a chaotic world. She shares her story and talks about what it means to be an HSP or empath and how you can navigate more easily through our world.
Listen and find out what you can do and why protection is so necessary.
Virginia speaks with KB and Ray of on the Wake Up Radio Show for the first 40 minutes or so, then AnnaMariah is on until the end.
A whopping 52% of those who took our HSP quiz reported that they have hard to explain or mysterious symptoms. If you have mysterious symptoms, they may be related to exposure to energies that are very abrasive to you. Have you ever had mysterious symptoms, physical or emotional issues that you just couldn’t seem to explain….and sadly, your health professional couldn’t either?
This is a surprisingly common experience among people who took our HSP/Empath Quiz.
Are there people you simply avoid? Do you attempt to get your shopping down quickly just to get away from the store? Both these situations can be considered abrasive, yet they can be from TWO DIFFERENT CAUSES! Other people’s energy can be so vibrationally different from yours that it’s really uncomfortable for you to be around that person. The EMF radiation from WiFi, cell phones, computers, tablets, etc. is also an abrasive and draining energy for many HSP’s.
Do you ever feel like you’re not truly connecting with your unique abilities and gifts? Does daily life just seem to overwhelm that energy? You’re not alone, this is a common problem for many who are energy sensitive.
How do you connect more with your abilities and energies?
Do you feel like you’re drowning in a sea of other people’s emotions? If so you may be a highly sensitive person or empath.
So how do you know, if you’re sensitive?
Have people told you that you’re just too sensitive. Or suggested that you just need a thicker skin?
Do you ever walk into a room where someone is really upset, mad, sad, anxious….and within minutes your good mood is a thing of the past. You become an almost perfect reflection of what the other person is feeling.
Do you have days, weeks even, where you just can’t seem to find your emotional center? You’re up, down
The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers… William Wordsworth
Our daily lives, full of obligation and negotiation, can be overwhelming. We toast together on New Year’s Eve, promising to create something new and better in the days to come. In that moment, anything is possible. So how do we move beyond the grind of our old routines and concerns once the party’s over?
Curiosity is the key. Sure, we need willpower and discipline. It also helps to create buddy systems to get us to the gym or make us accountable for our goals. And making that doctor’s appointment or finding a great coach gives us professional support and new tools. But these excellent strategies only work when we approach the puzzle with curiosity. 1. Smiling Triggers the Release of Endorphins
The more endorphins you release, the happier you are! When you smile the muscle movement in your face triggers your brain to activate neurotransmitters which release endorphins. Endorphins like dopamine and serotonin are our feel-good chemicals.

What’s a Holiday Sensitivity Profile? It’s your energy profile and prediction of how well you’ll get through the holiday!
The holidays are upon us again. For many of us, the holidays are a mixed bag. While many people look forward to them, others dread them or have mixed feelings for a variety of reasons.
I was reminded of this yesterday when talking to a very balanced, focused friend who was feeling “off” and kind of sad. When I mentioned that it’s almost Thanksgiving, she immediately knew that’s what was wrong.
If you’re a Highly Sensitive Person it’s quite likely that the holidays are more of a struggle for you, but even people who don’t normally have a problem find the holidays to be very stressful.
Don’t you just hate the pressure of finding the perfect gift?
I do! I start my holiday shopping early in the fall, because I’m picky about what I give my friends and family. And there are always people “impossible” to buy for! I’m torn between buying what I would want or finding something to fit them. (Hint: if we love it, they’ll probably feel the same way!) Whatever I buy, I worry they won’t be happy.
Are you a Co-Dependent gift giver?
You guessed it. I’m a co-dependent gift giver. Enough is never enough! Over the years I’ve learned to soften the edges of my holiday shopping anxiety with this simple mantra: It really is the thought that counts!
