California Dept. of Health Releases Cell Phone Warning
California has released guidelines to reduce or avoid harmful cellphone radiation. There is reason to be concerned about the long-term health issues of cell phones and other sources of EMF radiation; some of the issues are brain cancer, tumors, headaches, fatigue, low sperm count, impaired memory and focus and well as hearing and sleep issues. 9th Graders Do Science Experiment – Does Wifi Affect Germinating Seeds?
Five girls In Jutland, Denmark, for a biology experiment, decided to see if they could figure out why they were having more difficulty concentrating in school since WiFi was installed. They also noticed that they have difficulty sleeping if they keep their mobile phone nearby at night.
Did you know your smart phone can affect your brain? According to the Dr. Karen Smith, California Department of Public Health, about 95% of Americans own a cell phone. Kids get their first phone when they are 10. If you have A Deadly Wandering, by Matt Richtel, you already know that the sound you get when a text message comes in triggers a spurt of the pleasure neurotransmitter, dopamine. It doesn’t take very long for adults, but particularly for children, to form an addiction to those dopamine squirts! The greater concern is leaving your cell phones in your bedroom at night.
After years of listening to cellular phone companies assure us that WiFi and cell phone transmission is safe, why did Lloyds of London, a company who will take risks when other insurers won’t exclude EMF injuries? Are they expecting an avalanche of health claims related to EMF?
What Does Lloyd’s of London Know that We don’t know?
As a parent, you not only have to worry about getting yourself to work during the school year but now have more schedules than ever to juggle and your kids need your help as well. While we certainly don’t have the answers or a magic wand that you can wave and make it all easy and joyous, we do have some ideas that might help make back to school less stressful.
The morning rush to get to school is the first stress. What can you do the night before to be ready or have your child ready to walk out the door?
Honeybees Partner with Nature – But What if Nature is Disturbed?
Bee colonies worldwide began collapsing in 2003-2004 for no apparent reason.
A host of causes have been cited: pesticides, mites, viruses, hive hygiene, monoculture and climate changes. Daniel Favre decided to investigate another source of disruption for bees – cell phone signals.
Electromagnetic Waves Agitate Bees
Because cell phones work by sending signals that produce electromagnetic radiation, this researcher thought the bees might be affected by these waves. Bees make sounds as they fly around as a way of communicating with each other. In a landmark research study Continue reading →
EMF is making changes inside your body and your DNA – even if you don’t feel a thing!
Your cells and DNA are constantly being bombarded by frequencies that run the gamut from low-level frequencies to microwaves. Yep, you read correctly, microwaves. Did you know that WiFi signals are actually microwaves? Electrical frequencies come from anything that plugs in or has a battery – including wiring, appliances, smartphones, laptops, tablets, computers, equipment, cell towers, power lines, even your baby monitor.
Have you ever wondered what all that electromagnetic radiation is really doing to your body?
What happens to your body that could cause you to suddenly find it intolerable to be around EMF, WiFi and other technologies?
Are you addicted? What happens to you when there’s no cell service or internet?
Do you relax and welcome the opportunity to spend some unplugged time enjoying nature, visiting with friends, etc? Or are you in freak out mode, feeling like you’re missing out, disconnected from everything important?
Many experts now believe that exposure to cell phone use has been linked to significantly more diagnoses of ADHD in children as well as ADD and Autism Spectrum.
We live in an increasingly digital world. Our smartphones serve as our vessel for constant connection to the world; they’ve essentially become an extension of our bodies. Technological advancements have allowed us to communicate in new ways, but have all those gadgets come with an unexpected price? Continue reading →
