Can your cellphone age you faster?
We all love our cell phones, but is there a downside to using them all the time? Our phones operate at frequencies that most of us can’t even pronounce, much less imagine. The earth vibrates at 7.3 Hz (Hertz or cycles per second).
Our brain vibrates in a frequency range of less than 3.5 Hz when we are in a deep sleep (Delta), normal sleep 4-7 Hz (Theta), relaxed wakefulness – meditation 8-14 Hz (Alpha) or very alert 14-30 Hz (Beta). Some meditators have even experienced Gamma brain waves, with a frequency of between 25-100 Hz. However, these are all very LOW numbers when compared to our cell phones.
Megahertz is 1,000,000 Hertz. In North America your mobile phone carriers use frequency bands that range from 800 MHZ, or 800,000,000 (800 million) hertz up to 2700 MHz – or 2,700,000,000 (or 2.7 million) hertz. And we walk around with these phones in our pockets or purses and even hold them up to our head. Someone from another planet might be tempted to ask – ARE YOU CRAZY?
