Are Your Children Wired? Are They Protected? |
Did you Know? The UK Chief Medical Officers' advice: children under 16 should not use mobile phones except for short essential calls.
The French government is banning advertsing of mobile phones to children. All the independently-funded scientific studies of longer term mobile phone use have found an increased risk of brain tumors. Watch YouTube Video by Wired Child WiredChild is a charity run by a group of concerned parents, raising awareness of the potential risks to children of exposure to radiation from mobile phones and other wireless technology. They hope to enable other parents, schools and children achieve a better balance between safety and convenience. "There is reason to believe that children may be more susceptible to the effects of EMF exposure ...and they may be more at risk of DNA damage and subsequent cancers. Growth and development of the central nervous system is still occurring well into the teenage years so that neurological changes may be of great importance to normal development, cognition, learning and behavior." PLEASE MAKE SURE your children are protected. First, either have a BioElectric Shield hanging over their bed so it can wrap a protective energy cocoon around them while they sleep. This will stay in their energy field all day. An all silver or silver with brass shield is an excellent choice for infants, toddlers and school age children. (IF they have ADD/ADHD issues, there is a Shield designed to protect and focus their energy simultaneously). Parents of Indigo and Crystal chidren- you kids will really thank-you for the protection, because they are particularly vulnerable to these energies. ALSO we strongly recommend- putting protection on their cellphones if they have one. We are quite impressed with the waveShields. Ask us for ideas on how to do this easily.

There are times in your life when the most unexpected things can happen, and even as you watch them, you can't believe it's for real. I sing in a community choir, that is about 120 people strong, the Siskiyou Singers. ![]() In January, as we began our rehearsals for our spring concert, our choir director showed up at rehearsal apologizing for the fact he didn't have the practice CD ready for the tenors. He said he'd had a tough time getting rid of a cold in December. This was the first time in 20 years he wasn't completely ready for the new season. Dave, at 56 years old, was the picture o f health. When directing, he was a perfectionist for timing, pitch and proper blending. Dave always coached us from the space of love - and the belief that we would be able to take the most complex musical piece and make it sound great - in about 25 minutes. Without a doubt, he was the most talented director I've ever sung with.So why am I telling you this? Well, this is a story that could also be called "Stand by Me". As the winter progressed, Dave's body and mind began to fail. It started with a slight balance problem. Within a few weeks he needed someone to help him onto the podium to direct. By April it took two people to help him up to a podium that had a chair on it. When he stopped hearing errors we made, we all knew something really serious was going on. I thought he might die from whatever it was. No one wanted to even "go there", but we all were very concerned. A week before our May 2nd concert, another director sat in the back of the rehearsal hall - just in case he wouldn't be able to direct us. His will was stronger than his disease, and promptly at 2pm on Saturday, we started the pre-concert warm up. After he was helped to the podium, he spoke to us. "This may be the last concert I ever direct, so I really wanted to be here for it. You all have made this possible, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank-you for all your hard work and dedication. It's been my privilege to be your director for the past 20 years and I really look forward to these 2 performances." It was all we could do to contain our tears - but we did, and sang our hearts out for him. By pre-arrangement from our choir president, we ignored him when he cut us off too soon in a couple of places. By then we knew his mind was in and out, and that it was up to us to sing in a way that would make him proud. We loved this brave, sweet man and wanted to do anything we could for him. The Universe is such a perfect Being. Dave told us that originally he had planned a classical program for this concert, but at the last minute, he decided to change it to the choral versions for 6 Broadway musicals. Our last song was from the Lion King. First we sang it as the part of the Lion King, and then, on cue from our pianist, we sang it to him - for the chorus goes like this: Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings The world, for once, in perfect harmony With all its living things Can you feel the love tonight? You needn't look too far Stealing through the night's uncertainties Love is where they are Everyone in the concert hall knew Dave, and the standing ovation they gave us really was for him - for his dedication, skill and courage at being there. He was still cracking jokes with the audience in the midst of dying. Elton John recorded a version of this song. During this time, his partner, Annie, was taking care of him. As he got sicker, we all started bringing meals over to her place for them, each and every day. Finally, after a trip to a San Francisco hospital, he was diagnosed with Crutzfelt Jacob disease, also known as Mad Cow disease. There is no treatment, only deterioration leading to death. June 20th and 21st all his choirs (he directed 4 in the area), and many other musical friends put on 2 benefit concerts to help pay the medical expenses. By that time he had stopped eating, and was completely paralyzed. Annie and others stayed with him 24/7. It was a testimony to the love they felt for him. He left this earth Monday night, the day after the benefits. He probably rode out of here on a highway of love created for him. Surely this was a wonderful example of standing by someone. If you want to feel really good - listen to this inspiration version of Stand by Me It's what we are all about - LOVE. Virginia |
