She then helps you become more relaxed, calm and peaceful. In the short version of the Relaxation Guided Imagery, you are also joined by the Angel of Peace who helps you relax.

About Dr. Linnea Bailey

Linnea Bailey is a licensed psychologist in group practice in Lancaster, PA. Dr. Bailey primarily specializes in combing psychology with spirituality, wellness and self-empowerment. She views her work with others from a holistic perspective, in which connection of the mind, emotions, body and spirit, as well as the individual's relationship to others and the world is recognized. Dr. Bailey honors and works with all faith traditions.

Strengths, not just weaknesses are actively explored in session, as clients are encouraged to draw upon their internal, external and spiritual resources with her guidance and support. In addition to a holistic perspective, Dr. Bailey incorporates cognitive-behavioral and family systems therapy. When therapeutically appropriate, Dr. Bailey also conducts regression therapy and other forms of hypnosis.

Dr. Bailey has a B.A. in History from Franklin and Marshall College (1983), an M.Ed. in Counseling from Millersville University (1992) and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University (1998). Her pre- and post-doctoral hours were completed at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bailey has taught spiritual concepts since 1998 and she also holds a black belt in the Japanese martial art of aikido, also known as the art of peace.

Dr. Bailey received training in regression therapy from the Weiss Institute and from the International Association of Regression Research and Therapies. She received hypnosis training from the American Hypnosis Training Academy and the National Guild of Hypnotists. Dr. Bailey is a member of the American Psychological Association and the International Association of Regression Research and Therapies.
