Waking Dreams and the Invention of the BioElectric Shield for EMF Protection

Boston is one of the technology centers in the United States, and many computer companies are located there. In their clinic in Boston, Dr. Brown*, and his wife, Virginia Bonta Brown, an Occupational Therapist, noticed something odd. The patients who spent many hours in front of a computer healed more slowly, and arrived much more stressed out than the rest of the patient population. After researching the effects of sitting in front of computers, he concluded his patients needed electromagnetic radiation protection. They needed some kind of EMF protection device.

He committed himself to the idea of helping others by finding a solution to electromagnetic radiation shielding.

After leaving a busy city clinic practice, they moved to a quiet location in Montana. In the serenity of the wooded setting, he continued to research the increasing concerns medical professionals had about exposure to electromagnetic radiation. Two years after they left Boston, in 1989, something unusual happened one afternoon - Dr. Brown had his first waking dream. Knowing that both Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison were known to have had waking dreams as a source of their new ideas, he opened himself to the process of waking dreams. During our years of seeing patients, occasionally we would send a photo to this consultant. who sees energy with her down to the cellular level. To explain, she is not a medical intuitive in the sense that she intuits energy patterns. It's better than that! The rods and cones in her eyes are shaped differently than normal rods and cones. She sees an energy spectrum that is even more detailed than an MRI or X-ray.

Next he consulted with a physicist. He was told that using quartz for this application was logical. In fact, 2 Nobel Prizes were awarded in the 1920's using quartz and other crystals to refract away not only X-rays but other types of energy.

Research was conducted to investigate the possible protection from emf's wearing this kind of device. Happily the studies were consistent in showing people remained strong when exposed to these frequencies. Without the shield, most people showed measurable weakening in the presence of both emf's. Of interest to us was that these same effects were noted when people IMAGINED stress in their lives. It seems obvious that how we think, what we are exposed to physically, have an energy impact on us. The Shield addresses energy issues-stabilizing a person's energy in adverse conditions. *Dr. Charles W. Brown, D.C. , D.A.B.C.N., graduated magna cum laude from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1979. After Certification in Applied Kinesiology, he continued his education with post-doctoral work at UCLA. He became Board Certified as a Chiropractic Neurologist and Diplomat of the American College of Chiropractic Neurologists. Virginia Brown, M.S., O.T.R., graduated from Hollins College with a B.S. degree in science, and subsequently with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Sargent College of Allied Health Professionals, Boston University in 1974. After becoming Certified in Sensory Integration Therapy, she served as the Director of the Motor Team (P.T., O.T. and Adaptive P.E.) for the Children's Program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She also served on the Occupational Therapy Board of Oregon, and taught Therapeutic Touch to nurses and other health professionals as a graduate level continuing education course under the auspices of St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
